Granite Hill School incorporates a diverse yet carefully developed and applied methodology designed to motivate students and encourage their personal growth.

Assessment: At Granite Hill School, we stress the development of moral reasoning, anger management skills, and social problem solving abilities. To do this effectively, we assess each student’s social skill competencies. Using several diagnostic tools, we identify the specific social learning abilities and challenges for each student.

Social Skill Development: Once we have identified a student’s social skill challenges, our academic and clinical team develop a Social Skills Development Plan, and implement it within our educational and social skills curriculum.

Social Skills Curriculum: The social skills curriculum is integrated into every aspect of life at Granite Hill School. In all situations, students are encouraged to communicate their thoughts and feelings, so that they can be assisted in developing a proficient use of moral reasoning, coping skills, and good citizenship.
