The year has kicked off to a great start. Students have been working hard and progress reports are being completed this week. At the end of the month students and staff will also be participating in a Spirit Week.

Fall Update – 8.25.21

Welcome Back!

I sent an email out ahead of time to let everyone know GHS would be doing the beginning of the year paperwork a little differently this year. I am still looking for a system that works. If you as a parent or guardian have a suggestion, please share. I have the hardest time getting paperwork back, most of which is required.

I will be sending a folder home with your student on the first day of school, September 8th. Paperwork is due back by Friday, September 10th.

If your student has had an updated physical or immunizations, please have your Dr’s office send a copy to GHS. Both fax number and address are below. Immunizations are a requirement by the state for reporting purposes. If your student does not have one or both of these, there will be a letter in the front of your student’s folder.

If you have any questions about these items, please don’t hesitate to ask me! I can be reached reach during school hours, by email at, or by phone at 603.863.0697. Can’t wait to see you all!

NH Mask Mandate Update

Dear GHS Community,

On April 15, 2021 Governor Sununu announced that he would let the “mask mandate” executive order for NH that was originally implemented on November 20, 2020 expire on 4/16/2021 and that he would not be renewing it. Regulations regarding mask use have since been made the responsibility of individual businesses and schools. Granite Hill School has chosen to keep our mask policy in place until further notice. Students and staff will be expected to continue to adhere to the current GHS mask policy. If you have any questions please reach out Sarah Attwood at

In Person Instruction

Granite Hill School will resume in person instruction on 12/3/2020. If you have any concerns please reach out to the school during normal school hours.

Remote 12/2/2020

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Yesterday evening I was made aware of one of our high school community members testing positive for COVID-19.  Due to this all high school students will be educated remotely 12/2/2020.  There will be a food delivery that will leave GHS around 10:30.  We will continue to omit those students who have previously stated they do not want food delivered.  If you have changed your mind and would like breakfast and lunch tomorrow, please respond to this email and you will be added to the list.
All students should log into their A block class at 9:00.  Classes will be held on the same schedule as in-person classes.
If you need assistance or have questions please email or call the school, tomorrow between 8:30-3:30.

Be Well,
